“PHARMA GRADE” MCTS ARE NOT BETTER THAN PRODUCTS WITHOUT THIS DESIGNATION

There are many “Pharma Grade” MCTs marketed, and it is challenging to know what is really meant. Typically, but not always, Pharma grade material is more highly purified than non-Pharmaceutical grade; the acceptable variance in levels of MCTs and other substances may be tighter across lots; and more regulatory filings (adding to cost) are associated with Pharmaceutical grade to comply with the rules in various geographies. “In the spirit” of pharmaceutical grade or specification, could mean a material that is otherwise identical to pharmaceutical grade, but with fewer regulatory documents filed for the material or for each lot. KetoMCT is manufactured in the spirit of pharmaceutical grade; it is not worth paying for true Pharma Grade as we see no additional benefits for our consumers. Companies should clarify what their designation of Pharma Grade actually means.
